Reserving a Puppy

Adopting a Puppy is a Serious Decision
We love our puppies and therefore will make every effort to place each in a safe and suitable home. Raising a puppy is a serious responsibility and requires a long-term commitment. When considering a Golden, keep in mind they need plenty of exercise, training, proper grooming, and most importantly companionship. 

Puppy Application
In order to be considered for one of our puppies, an application must be submitted, followed by a phone interview where we will ask you a series of questions to help us get to know you better. Prospective buyers may not visit puppies prior to their six-week vet appointment in order to protect the puppies and the mother from any potential outside illnesses. 

What We Provide
Because our puppies are raised in our home, we are able to provide them with the daily care and stimulation they need to become healthy, well-adjusted members of your family. Puppies receive Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) for 2 consecutive weeks beginning on day 3 after puppies are born. In addition to this, puppies begin potty training as soon as their eyes open and they can begin to walk. They are exposed to the normal sounds of a busy household such as vacuums, pots and pans banging, and kids playing. Around week 3 we begin introducing obstacles, toys, new sights and sounds, and exposure outdoors to enrich our puppies. Finally, puppies start the basics of crate training, experience car rides, and meet new dogs and people. All puppies are seen by the vet, are current on vaccinations (given by vet) and deworming as listed in the health record of your puppy packet.

Deposit and Delivery
Once the litter is born and approval has been given, a $300 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your puppy. Puppies are sold with AKC Limited Registration, which means they cannot be bred and must be spayed/neutered at the appropriate age. The remaining balance must be paid at time of pick up. We do not offer shipping. Puppies must be picked up in person on an agreed upon date and may leave our home at 8 weeks of age.

We are located in Upstate, South Carolina which is 30 minutes from Greenville, SC, 1.5 hours from Columbia, SC, and 3.5 hours from Charleston, SC, or 1.5 hours from Charlotte, NC, 1.5 hours from Asheville, and 3 hours from Atlanta.
